Summary of Volume 3

Summary of Volume 3
If I say that the first volume [Lord of Longzhou] is finished, I will definitely be scolded.

Who can take so long to write a volume and write more than one million words? Isn't it a waste of time?

really not.

These more than one million words are divided into three volumes, namely [Ghost Festival Rebellion], [War of the Mermaids] and [Lord of Longzhou].

Hence the title is the summary of volume 3.

But I kept in mind the lesson of the previous book. If the books were divided into volumes and readers stopped reading them, or if the subscriptions plummeted, I would not divide them into volumes, and I have been writing until now.

My friend once said that splitting the volumes is the right of the greats, and failing to split the volumes will only lead to a more miserable death.

However, there are only 200 readers left, which is a new low.

It makes no difference whether it is divided into volumes or not.

Then I might as well divide it up and summarize the areas of satisfaction and dissatisfaction.

I am personally quite satisfied with the place.

First, there are a wide variety of luck entries, and the abilities are quite interesting.

I really like the various interesting entries and abilities.

So every time I upgrade, I will prepare three interesting entries, and even make concessions for abilities, modify and add certain plots.

In fact, the main reason why these three volumes have such a large length is the upgrade of entries.

If any reader wants to criticize me for being boring, it would probably be here.

But I had to write.

Because the subscription will increase only when I write and upgrade the entries, at other times, the business is dismal.

If readers like it, then I can only write more.

Second, the plot and character development of the girl are stronger than in the previous book.

My previous book was about girls, but there was too little interactive content, and readers were very dissatisfied.

In this book, I tried my best to strengthen the interaction between the male and female protagonists, increase the plot, and shape the characters.

As a result, readers were also very dissatisfied.

I often open the backstage and see that some readers have abandoned the book or criticized me because of the harem.

For example, some people criticized me, saying that because there are so many female characters, you know this book is not worth reading, and so on.

To be honest, it's really sad.

This morning, someone wrote a long article to criticize me, which was very uncomfortable.

I can only say that I am not capable enough to portray a heroine that everyone likes.

terribly sorry.

Third, the world view should be written in a new way.

For example, the Lingmi Revolution promoted and triggered social conflicts, such as the formation of heaven and earth, ghosts and gods, and the setting of the dividing line between humans and demons, etc.

These make my story and worldview a little more interesting.

As for the story and rhythm itself, I don’t want to brag about it. After all, the results are there and the subscriptions speak for themselves.

Subscribing to good works generally means good works.

Subscribe to bad works, then they are bad works.

……

Next is the point that I am not satisfied with.

First, I still don’t have a good control over the sense of rhythm. I often unconsciously sacrifice the sense of rhythm for the sake of logic.

But readers never pay for logic, they only pay for stories and emotions. This is why no matter how hard I try, my results cannot improve.

For example, some readers have responded that the recent chapters are too bland.

Although I added a lot of plot conflicts and gains, Longzhou no longer poses any threat to Chu Wujiang.

Chu Wujiang took action as the lord of Longzhou, which resulted in the pressure being too little and not intense enough.

Logically speaking, from the perspective of the story, he should go to Tianjing as soon as possible to facilitate the development of the plot.

But considering Chu Wujiang's intelligence, it is impossible for him to go to Tianjing without governing Longzhou well and arranging Longzhou's affairs.

I can only try my best to separate [Lord of Longzhou] and tell his governance experience.

Obviously this was a complete failure, as we can see from the follow-up subscriptions that readers did not like the content.

I'm really sorry, I didn't write it well.

Second, the subscription of mermaid content is too poor, which makes me afraid to write more about mermaids.

Some readers have complained about the content of the Mermaid Volume, saying that the final battle has never begun.

The reason is actually very simple. As soon as I wrote about mermaids, the subscriptions plummeted.

Don't understand why.

One reader even said that he wouldn't read anything related to mermaids.

I can only blame myself for being incompetent and failing to write these plots well.

Third, the writing is not concise enough
When writing the entry on luck, I did add a lot of explanations, which resulted in the text being less concise and containing certain repetitions and explanations.

But I don’t write it in detail, for fear that readers may not understand.

I can only say that there will be a chance to correct it.

I'm really sorry for my limited ability.

Finally, let me report the results.

As of July 7, the book's performance is approximately -

Favorites: 36310
Subscription: 204
Average subscription: 1425
This is definitely a very, very bleak result, which makes people cry.

Because the editor said that if the subscription is less than 300, it is basically impossible to recommend it.

If you can't even get 300 readers together, what hope is there?
As for the average number of subscriptions, it is actually a result of the combined chapters in the past few months. If it were changed to three updates a day as before, it would be unknown whether the average subscription of 800 could be maintained.

So I still have to plead.

My writing attitude is still fine. I have been updating about 7,000 words a day, even when I had a fever or stayed up late.

I also often write until one or two in the morning to ensure updates.

Because I still need the royalties to live.

If what I write can make you see it now, I hope you can subscribe to support it.

It would be even better if readers could help recommend it.

It is really necessary.

Thank you to every reader who paid to support us, we really appreciate it.

Without you, I wouldn't have made it this far.
